Desperate bus drivers 'use garden as toilet'

RESIDENTS are calling for a bus station to be relocated - because bus drivers are using their garden as a toilet.

The bus station is just around the corner from flats in Camden Gardens, Camden Town.

Residents say desperate drivers are using the garden at the front of their flats as a makeshift public convenience because there are no toilets at the station.

Bus company bosses suggested they could put a portable loo in front of the homes instead but residents collected a petition against the proposal.

Kim Redman, who lives in Camden Gardens, said: "It's disgusting. Our garden is a toilet for them, because they don't have one at the station.

"The bus company wanted to put a portable toilet in, but we didn't want a loo by our windows. So the bus drivers continue to use our garden as a toilet.

"What we want them to do is move the station and there was talk of it, but we are still waiting for anything to happen, and in the meantime they are still getting away with it.
